Can I sell what I make?

Short answer: yes — the armour you design is yours to sell. What you can't sell is the plugin itself.

You may

• Sell the equipment sets and resource packs you make. Put them on a marketplace, sell them in a bundle, take commissions — they're your work.
• Give them away. Free packs are fine too.
• Use them on any server you run, including one that makes money.
• Sell things players buy in game — ranks, crates and kits containing your custom gear.
• Ship the developer API inside your own plugin and sell that plugin, with no licence key needed. See the developer guide.

You may not

• Resell, re-upload or share the NxEquipements jar itself, whole or in part.
• Share your licence key, or use one that wasn't issued to you.
• Remove or bypass the licence check, or pass around a build with it removed.

If you sell a set to someone else

1. Send them the .nxe file if you want them to be able to edit it, or just the built resource pack and plugin config if you don't.
2. They need their own NxEquipements licence to run the plugin. Your licence covers your server, not theirs.

One key, one server

Each licence key runs one server. The plugin checks the key when it starts and every ten minutes after that.

Run the same key on two servers at once and it gets suspended automatically. If that was an honest mistake — you moved host, rebuilt a machine, left a test server running — you can lift it yourself from your licence dashboard. Genuine mistakes get unbanned.

Other useful facts

• Updates are included within the same major version.
• Refunds follow the policy of wherever you bought it. If you bought direct, talk to Nexo Studio before a chargeback — they'd rather fix the problem.
• NxEquipements is in beta. Behaviour and the developer API can still change between releases.
• No warranty. Keep backups of your server, as you would with any plugin.
