Stats tab

Painting is done — now make it behave like real gear. Click Configure piece in the breadcrumb bar, or the sliders icon in the left rail.

The four tabs

The configuration tab list with its four tabs numbered
Down the left of the configuration screen.
  1. Stats — durability, armour, rarity, effects. This page.
  2. Item & Tooltip — the name and lore. See here.
  3. Equipment — sounds, repairs, behaviour. See here.
  4. Recipe — how it's crafted. See here.

Turn on advanced settings first

The Show advanced settings button at the top of the configuration screen
Top-right of the configuration screen.
  1. Show advanced settings — unlocks over half of this screen.
If you can't find something described here, this button is why. Enchantments, attributes, effects, repair rules, custom data, camera overlay and tooltip styling are all hidden until it's on.

Properties

The Properties section with its four fields numbered
The Properties section.
  1. Max Durability — how many hits before it breaks. Iron chestplate is 240, diamond 528. Leave empty for the vanilla value.
  2. Rarity — the colour of the item's name: Common (White), Uncommon (Yellow), Rare (Aqua), Epic (Light Purple).
  3. Max Stack Size — how many fit in one slot. Armour should be 1.
  4. Base Material (Vanilla Item) — which real Minecraft item this is built on.
The one mistake everyone makes. Setting Max Durability while Max Stack Size is above 1 stops your pack building. An item can be damageable or stackable, never both. Armour: durability on, stack size 1.

Armour stats

The five armour stat fields, numbered
The armour numbers.
  1. Armor Points — the armour bar. A full iron set is 15 across four pieces. Range 0–30.
  2. Armor Toughness — cuts damage from big hits. Diamond has it, iron doesn't. Range 0–20.
  3. Knockback Resistance — how hard you are to push. 1 means immovable. Range 0–1.
  4. Max Health — extra hearts. 2 = one heart. Range 0–1024.
  5. Movement Speed — speed change. Small numbers: 0.02 is noticeable. Negative slows you down.
There is no automatic set bonus. Wearing all four pieces doesn't give an extra reward by itself — you just get each piece's stats added up. Spread the numbers across four pieces and remember that total is what a player gets for the full set.

The switches

The three main toggle switches, numbered
Under the stat fields.
  1. Unbreakable — never takes damage. Durability stops mattering.
  2. Enchantment Glint — the purple shimmer, without any enchantment.
  3. Death Protection (Totem) — saves the player once, like a totem, then is used up.

Chestplates and elytra get a fourth: Acts as Elytra (Glider), which lets the player glide.

Advanced: Default Enchantments

The Default Enchantments section with an enchantment row
Press Add Enchantment to get a row.

Each row is an enchantment plus a level from 1 to 255. The item arrives already enchanted. The red × at the end of a row removes it.

Advanced: Attributes

The Attributes section with an attribute row
Press Add Attribute to get a row.

For anything not covered by the five stat boxes — attack damage, luck, mining speed. Each row has:

  • the attribute to change
  • the operationadd value adds a flat amount; add multiplied base and add multiplied total work as percentages
  • the amount
  • Show — whether it appears in the tooltip

You don't pick a slot. It applies automatically when the piece is worn in its own slot.

Advanced: Status Effects

The Status Effects section with an effect row
Press Add Effect to get a row.

Potion effects that run the whole time the gear is worn. Choose the effect and a level, and optionally turn off Particles and Icon so it isn't distracting.

There's no duration to set — the effect lasts as long as the gear is on and stops when it comes off.

Instant effects like Instant Health can't be used this way.

Advanced: the rest

  • Tooltip visibility — five switches that hide individual stat lines without removing the stat.
  • Damage Resistance — press Add Immunity and pick a damage type to be immune to while wearing it.
